A simply stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This fantastic platinum piece adorns an incredible natural star sapphire cabochon at the center of a gorgeous Deco setting. The stone weighs approximately 3.0ctw and displays a wonderful, gray-blue color. In the center, is a star that is faint but can be seen when it catches the light. The sapphire is prong set within a platinum setting, and adorning each shoulder are 18 assorted round cut diamonds with milgrain detail throughout. A smoothly polished band wraps around the back. It looks absolutely stunning on and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7, but could easily be resized if desired. The height of the ring is approximately 3/4" when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the star sapphire or to the platinum and the sapphire and all of the diamonds are intact.
