An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond engagement ring! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous ring displays a breathtaking modified brilliant cushion cut diamond. The glittering stone has a total weight of 1.21ctw with G color and SI1 clarity. It is set within a lovely 4 prong-accented bezel amidst a heart motif accented filigree mounting. The mounting is dotted with two single cut diamonds on each shoulder, flanking the center stone. There are four additional single cut diamonds at the center of each heart-shaped cartouche on the setting, with the cumulative weight of all the single cut diamonds estimated to be approximately 0.10ctw. The elegant filigree mounting tapers significantly from the shoulders down to the shank, with elegant feathered engraving down each side. The interior of the band is marked for Platinum. This ring is accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report dated December 2014 (report #1189862970). This elegant and feminine design would make for an incredible engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring currently is a size 7 and could be resized. The band measures 7.3mm at widest and tapers down to 1.25mm at the base of the shank.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
