A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, the ring features an exquisite 1.22ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is held within a raised 6-prong crown-like setting and has J color and VS1 clarity. The cathedral style setting is lined with 38 sparkling bead set diamonds, which accent the ring beautifully and are surrounded by delicate milgrained detail. These stones have a total approximate weight of 0.43ctw with color in the H-K range and clarity in the VS2-SI1 range. Beautiful antique engraving travels along the sides of the band, adding a subtle yet stunning accent that completes the feminine design. The inside of the shank is stamped "PLAT". The ring was appraised in June 2014 by an accredited and independent GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $12,900.00. It is a truly magnificent diamond and would make an absolutely perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a 7 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact.
