An outstanding sapphire ring from the late Art Deco era! This breathtaking platinum ring has a beautiful four-prong open mounting adorned with sparkling diamonds at the shoulders. The emerald-cut sapphire has an exact weight of 1.51cts and boasts a gorgeous pale lavender-blue tone with amazing clarity. The open mounting allows the stone to be fully engulfed with light, highlighting the step-facets signature to an Emerald Cut. The shoulders hold two micro prong set single cut diamonds, each weighing approximately .05cts each. The shank of the ring is stamped with a worn platinum purity mark.
