$12,995

A gorgeous bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, this bangle bracelet displays a gorgeous opal and diamond horseshoe motif. The horseshoe is riveted to the bangle and holds eleven incredible opal cabochons that display an incredible, fiery rainbow with flashes of red, orange, blue, and greens. Delicate Rose Cut diamonds line the tips and inside of the horseshoe, decorating the spaces between each brilliant opal. The horseshoe is held with a curling ribbon motif, each holding fourteen glittering Old Mine Cut diamonds as they curl around the horseshoe. Rich blue enamel borders the rows of diamonds, and the ribbons are threaded through attached rings on the front of the bracelet. The bangle bracelet hinges open and closes at a discrete push clasp and is further secured by a delicate safety chain. Perfect for an opal lover or an equestrian lover, this would be a spectacular addition to any Victorian collection!

Measurements: The inner circumference of the bracelet measures approximately 7”. The horseshoe motif measures 1 5/16” tall, 3” wide, and is about 3/8” at its deepest points.

Condition: The bracelet is in excellent antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds and opals are intact and securely set. There is minor wear to the enamel, typical of Victorian-era jewelry, this does not detract from the beauty or integrity of the piece. The hinge, clasp, and safety chain are all secure and in good working condition.
