A gorgeous pendant necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and topped in platinum, this unique pendant has an elegant design of glittering Single Cut diamonds and Square Cut calibrated rubies. The bead-set diamonds, weighing approximately 0.25ctw, and the 0.65ctw of channel-set rubies rest in an elegant looping design, and a bezel-set diamond and lustrous natural pearl dangle from each ends. Two fine yellow gold chains carry the pendant, connecting at a sparkling 0.35ctw Old Mine Cut diamond held in an open-backed bezel. Matching chain and a spring ring marked "AU750" secure the necklace. This beautiful pendant necklace would be an impressive addition to an Edwardian collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 17" in length. The pendant hangs 2 3/16" in length and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The necklace is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. All of the diamonds and calibrated rubies are intact and securely set. The pearls are in excellent condition and their nacre is intact. The chains and spring ring are secure and in good working condition.
