$595

Renowned Danish silversmith Georg Jensen was born in 1866. His training in metalsmithing and his education in the Fine Arts enabled him to develop a successful career based in beautiful jewelry and silver design. His signature Art Nouveau style grew increasingly popular and Jensen became a world renowned artist. Although Jensen died in 1935, his pieces are still being created today using the same craftsmanship as when he was alive.

This sterling silver ring is a fabulous example of Georg Jensen's impeccable craft. Approximately from the late 1950s era, this wonderful piece is crafted of sterling silver and features a single elongated oval-shaped green agate stone set in a gorgeous floral setting. The floral-like motif wraps beautifully around the green agate and onto the shoulders of the ring. On the underside of the ring is the signature "GEORG JENSEN" hallmark which was used from 1945 to present time, "925 S", "DENMARK", and the number "18". This fabulous piece would make a great addition to any Jensen collection!

Measurements: The oval shaped green agate measures approximately 9/16" wide, and 7/8" tall. The ring has a finger size 7 but it could easily be resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the green agate stone and no significant damage to the silver.
