This large necklace has a classic "Gucci style" design, but hails from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This substantial necklace is made of solid 15k gold and is comprised of large mariner links (also called "anchor links"). The necklace also features two oversized spring rings. The second spring ring hangs from three of the mariner links. This gives you the option to wear this as one long continuous chain, or, you can utilize the second spring ring to hang your favorite pendant from and shorten the overall length if you wish. A fantastic statement piece, it looks impressive when worn and is perfect for the fashion-conscious woman.
Measurements: The chain measures 20" long with all of the links, and 17 3/4" without the second spring ring and three links. Each anchor link measures approximately 5/8” long, 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick. The two spring rings measure 1/2" in diameter. The total pennyweight of the piece is 31.0 dwt (41.8 grams).
Condition: The necklace is in excellent pre-owned condition, with minimal surface wear. A few of the links have developed a patina, only adding character to this piece!
