A gorgeous A.J. Hedges & Co. pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful natural pearl piece is in the shape of a rhombus, with a cutout in its center. The rhombus is covered in a boarder of milky white pearls, which are prong set within the 14kt gold pin. Framing the pearl border is a vibrant teal colored enamel and in the center of the pin is a small gold buckle. On the back rests a secure pin clasp, as well as the Hedges "H" hallmark and "14K". This wonderful pin would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures 1 1/4" long, slightly more than 3/4" wide, and has a depth of less than 1/8”.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enamelin. All of the pearls are intact and the pin clasp is in good working condition.
