Victorian Sterling Silver Inlaid Granite Bangle Bracelet
A wonderful and unusual sterling bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful sterling silver piece is particularly wide and has an interesting design of triangular shaped inlaid granite on the front. The natural stone varies in color and the soft, neutral hues look wonderful next against the sterling. An ornate etched design details both sides of the bracelet and carries on to the back where it frames the piece along the top and bottom. The bracelet is hinged and clasps on the side and the underside of the clasp is stamped with a small maker's mark. A wonderful piece, the bracelet has a classic Victorian look that would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures about 1" wide and has a depth of about 1/8". The inside opening (where your wrist would fit) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 2" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver or to the inlaid granite. The clasp and hinge are secure and in good working condition.
