Art Deco Platinum Diamond Filigree Engagement Ring .72ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful platinum ring frames a sparkling old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond weighs approximately .72ct, and has H color and SI2 clarity. A fine filigree pattern travels along the sides and edges of the mounting, complete with lacy cutouts, delicate milgrain detail, and hand engraving. At the back is a tapered band (stamped "L.D.R." inside). The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in August 2017, and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,500.00. It is gorgeous in person, and would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75, but could be resized if desired. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn, and the tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamond is intact and securely set.
