Victorian 18kt/Sterling Sapphire + Diamond Cluster Ring 1.00ct center
A gorgeous sapphire and diamond cluster ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 18kt rose gold, this beautiful piece features a 1.00ct sapphire framed at the center of a sparkling diamond border. The vibrant center stone is prong set, displaying incredible rich blue hues that catch the light with every turn in its open back setting. Framing the sapphire are twelve sparkling old European Cut diamonds which collectively weigh approximately 0.70ctw and display G-H range color and VS range clarity. The diamonds are prong set in sterling silver and a polished rose gold band which is stamped "18K" completes the design. A beautiful Victorian piece, it is perfect to mark a special occasion, or it would make a stunning gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5, but could be easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures a little under 1/2" in diameter and the ring rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The gold band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting and all of the sapphire and diamonds are intact and securely set.
