Art Deco Platinum Diamond Heart Motif Filigree Engagement Ring 1.00ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece, which is crafted in platinum, features an old European Cut diamond at the center of a decorative mounting. The prong-set stone weighs approximately 1.00ct and displays I color and VS2 clarity and decorating each shoulder of the cathedral-style setting are two Single Cut diamonds in a box setting. Gorgeous heart-shaped filigree wirework surrounds the center diamond, and four additional Single Cut stones are set within the larger hearts set on either side, adding a romantic touch to the beautiful mounting. Collectively, the accent stones weigh approximately 0.08cwt, and display G-H range color and VS clarity range. A scrolling wheat motif travels along the band and fine milgrained details are found throughout the setting. Completing the design is a simple polished band that graduates slightly towards the back, which is stamped "PLATINUM" inside the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in September 2018 and has a stated retail replacement value of $11,000.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous Art Deco piece and would make a stunning engagement ring or could mark a special occasion!
