A stunning mixed metals diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold and platinum, this stunning piece adorns an approximately 1.08ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The gorgeous bezel set stone exhibits M color and VS1/VS2 clarity, sparkling beautifully in the light with every turn. The diamond is surrounded by a smoothly polished border which is separated by an open channel, making the stone appear as if its "floating." Eight old Rose Cut diamonds line the shoulders, weighing approximately 0.20ctw combined, adding a wondering eye-catching element. Finishing the mixed metals design are delicate cutouts below the mounting, and a fine etched motif that lines the smoothly polished band, which graduates towards the back. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in January 2020, and has a stated retail replacement value of $8,000.00. The ring delivers a spectacular sparkle when worn, and would make a unique vintage engagement piece!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size scant 6.75 but could easily be resized. The diamond centerpiece rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures about 1.5mm at the wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. Due to the hand cut nature of old rose cut diamonds, the stones do not have perfect symmetry; this reflects their age and genuine appearance. The band appears to have been resized in the back.
