Late Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.83ct
An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in platinum and holds an old European Cut diamond at the center of an ornate etched mounting. The diamond weighs 1.83ct, and exhibits L/M color and I1 clarity. An engraved feathered design can be found on both sides of the mounting, creating an angel wing-like motif, and lining the shoulders are ten additional accent diamonds, which add further sparkle to the stunning piece! Fine milgraining travels along the band, which tapers in gracefully as it nears the back, and the shank is stamped "950." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist in March of 2021 and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,000.00. It looks positively gorgeous when worn, and would make a spectacular vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7 but could easily be re-sized. The diamond centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or etched feather motif and all of the diamonds are intact.
