Late Art Deco Gilded Sterling Moss + Banded Agate Bead Necklace 16.25"
A unique and stunning moss agate beaded necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This fabulous piece is comprised of a strand of graduating agate beads which come together to form an elegant necklace that rests along the neckline. The moss and banded agate beads are smoothly polished and display beautiful milky white, orange, and earthy green hues marbled with natural inclusions. The vast majority of the beads are moss agate in variety and together they all have a wonderful cohesive design. Finishing the design is a gilded sterling spacer bead resting in between each agate bead. The hand strung and individually knotted bead necklace meets at a decorative gilded sterling push clasp stamped with a "STERLING" purity mark on the back. This simple and attractive design is perfect for the agate lover, and would make a lovely everyday necklace!
