WACHENHEIMER Art Deco Sterling Chrysoprase + Onyx Link Bracelet
A stylish link bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this bracelet is comprised of alternating chrysoprase and onyx links that connect together to form a straight but flexible design. The shallow sugarloaf shaped onyx stones exhibit a rich, smoothly polished black hue and pair perfectly next to the oval-shaped chrysoprase stones, which display a vivid emerald green hue. Each stone is hand cut and claw set within an open back frame, and hidden hinged links connect them together to wrap comfortably around the wrist. The bracelet fastens with a push clasp disguised within the final link, and stamped on the underside of the clasp is a "STERLING" mark and the "WACHENHEIMER" signature hallmark. A perfect everyday bracelet, it would look fantastic worn alone or paired with other complimentary pieces for a layered look!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long, and would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. Each onyx links measures about 3/8" long and wide, and is slightly more than 1/8" thick. The chrysoprase links measure about 1/2" tall and wide and are 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. All of the chrysoprase and onyx stones are intact and securely set. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. There is a natural darkened patina on the sterling silver setting, which is common given the age of the piece and adds to its unique beauty and character.
