Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Onyx Double Row Line Bracelet 10ctw
An absolutely stunning line bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This dazzling piece features 100 sparkling old European Cut diamonds that wrap around the wearer's wrist in a glittering double row. Made of platinum, the bracelet is comprised of 25 links, each which features a cluster of 4 diamonds and 4 onyx stones which frame the top and bottom. In total, the diamonds have an approximate weight of 10ctw, with H-J color range and VS2-SI range clarity. Each diamond is prong set within a box setting and the onyx rests within a channel setting in which both sides are lined with delicate milgrained detail. The links hinge together, giving the bracelet a comfortable level of flexibility and a seamless design. The side edges of the bracelet are enhanced with a lovely engraved design and the piece opens and closes at a push clasp that is hidden within one of the links of the bracelet. It also has a safety clasp for added security. The bracelet was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist in May 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $20,000.00. An absolutely gorgeous piece that looks fabulous when worn, it is an outstanding bracelet and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long, slightly more than 3/8" wide, and approximately 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the platinum, and all of the diamond and onyx stones are intact. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition, and the safety clasp is also intact.
