Late Art Deco Platinum Calibrated Ruby Diamond Cufflinks
A very striking pair of cufflinks from the late Art Deco era (ca1920) era! Made of platinum and 14kt white gold, these attractive cufflinks are beautifully accented with vibrant rubies and diamonds. The platinum cufflink faces, which are round in shape, have a smooth center and are framed by a rich, calibrated ruby and diamond border. The diamond are interspersed through the ruby design and all of the stones are framed by fine milgrained accents. The airplane backs are 14kt white gold and were most likely converted in the 1940's. A very attractive pair of cufflinks, they would make an eye-catching addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each round cufflink face has a diameter of 5/8". The airplane backs measure 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and gold setting and all of the rubies and diamonds are intact.
