Late Art Deco Gilded Silver Moss Agate Cufflinks
Gorgeous and unusual moss agate cufflinks from the Late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Crafted in gilded 830 silver, each cufflink has a simple yet attractive design, featuring a large moss agate stone in the center. The rectangular-shaped plaques have rounded corners and are bezel set, displaying rich icy grey blue color with deep brown and green natural inclusions which mimic the appearance of live moss. Additionally, each stone has fiery orange bursts of color that come alive when light shines through the open back. A wide, flat border frames the bezel of each stone which is stamped on the back, "830" and is attached in the center to a curved gold bar also stamped "830," ending in a moveable airplane back. These classic and very attractive pair of cufflinks would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: Each cufflink measures approximately 7/8" long, and each agate stone in its bezel setting measures slightly less than 3/4" tall, is 7/8" wide and is approximately 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gilded silver setting or to the agate stones, which are secure and intact.
