Art Deco Sterling Silver & Jade Chinese Earrings
A pair of gorgeous Jade earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These beautiful earrings are made of sterling silver and have a lovely design that reflects their Chinese origin. Each earring begins with a sterling filigree ball topper, which is attached to a simple earring wire. A section of silver filigree chain hangs below, with a smooth jade bead in the middle. The chain wraps through the middle of a gorgeous jade ring at the bottom, completing the simple yet lovely design. All of the jade has lovely coloring, with translucent green mixed with pale hues of white and grey. These marvelous earrings look stunning when worn and make a beautiful statement. They would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 7/8" long. The large jade rings have an outer diameter of 1 1/4” with an inner diameter of 3/8” and are approximately 1/8" thick. The smooth jade beads measure approximately 8mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the jade rings or beads. The wires and toppers are both secure and intact.
