Wonderful lapis and pearl earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each earring begins with a round Mississippi River pearl, which is set within 14kt gold. Dangling from the pearl surmount are three pearls connected by gold links, which then connect to the lapis links. The lapis stones are split and resting in between is a faceted rock quartz crystal disk. The earrings hang from a simple clasped 14kt gold earring wire. The lapis has beautiful color with various hues of blue, burnt red, and brown. These stunning earrings are in beautiful condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/8" long and measures approximately 1/2" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the lapis, rock quartz crystals or pearls, or to the gold.
