Late Art Deco Sterling Silver Citrine Earrings
Exquisite citrine earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These unusual earrings are particularly large in size and have a magnificent design, each detailed with 17 vibrant citrine stones. Made of sterling silver, a large open wirework link hangs from a single stone topper which attaches to the original screwback posts. The large center link is accented with several citrines and 3 additional stones dangle from the bottom. Each stone varies slightly in color and size and are hand cut and faceted. The back of each screwback is marked "STERLING". They are simply marvelous earrings and would be perfect addition to any collection.
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long, are 1 1/4" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver and all of the citrines are intact. The earring screwbacks are secure and in good working condition.
