Art Deco Platinum Diamond Filigree Pendant 3.50ctw
A gorgeous diamond pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece, which is made of platinum, forms a long octagonal shape with fine filigree wirework accents throughout. The pendant features three large old European Cut diamonds that are bead set within octagonal box settings, resting vertically along the face of the pendant. Each of these stones weighs approximately 0.85ct with J color and clarity in the SI1-SI2 range. Sprouting from the center stones is floral detailing which is accented with additional sparkling diamonds and milgrained detailing that leads to edge of the pendant. The entire pendant is bordered with a complimentary filigree wirework frame that has a stunning floral motif, adorning diamonds. The total approximate carat weight of the piece is 3.50ctw. The pendant hangs from a diamond encrusted bail which holds 12 old Mine Cut diamonds and the back of the pendant is open and slightly concave, displaying the fine wirework detail. This brilliant and eye-catching piece is a magnificent pendant and looks simply stunning when worn!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 7/8" long and 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamond stones are intact.
