A gorgeous carved crystal pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This fabulous piece depicts a stunning and large reverse carved crystal pendant which is tear drop in shape. The carved image appears to be of a robed man hold a pot-like vessel which hangs from 3 long cords. The picture, which is carved into the back and shows through to the front, is very detailed and intricate. The crystal tear drop has faceted edges and hangs from an ornate platinum topped 14kt yellow gold bail. The bail is riveted through the top of the pendant and is detailed with 2 natural seed pearls and 8 sparkling diamonds. This stunning piece would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2 7/8" long, is 1 3/4" at its widest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There are a few minor surface scratches in the crystal and a couple minor chips along the edge; none are noticeable when worn. There is no apparent damage to the bail and all of the diamonds and pearls are intact.
