Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring 1.68ct
An absolutely magnificent diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Resting in the center of a platinum mounting is a stunning old European Cut diamond, which has a total weight of 1.68ct with H color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is held within a claw prong setting and accented with 16 additional Single Cut diamonds, which carry along the shoulders of the mounting. The single cut stones have H-I range color, VS range clarity and a total carat weight of 0.20ctw. The sides of the ring display a beautiful wirework design along with hand etched accents, creating a lovely and feminine motif. The spectacular design of the ring is simply wonderful and the ring looks incredible when worn. The ring was appraised in March 2016 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $25,000.00. It is absolutely breathtaking and would make a perfect engagement ring!
