Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .43ct
A simply stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and features a prong set Old European Cut diamond resting in the center of a diamond encrusted mounting. The center diamond weighs approximately 0.43ct and has F color and SI2 clarity. Framing the center stone are two Trillion Cut diamonds on either side, which together weigh approximately .28ctw and have H-I range color and SI range clarity. Completing the design is an upper and lower row of 24 delicate Old European cut diamonds, which surround the center stones and add an incredible sparkle to the diamond encrusted design. Delicate milligrained detail accents the diamonds and arrow-shaped cutouts decorate the sides of the mounting. Traveling along the sides of the band is beautiful hand-engraved detail, and the shank is stamped "10% IRID PLAT" and "H388" inside. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in July 2013 and has a stated replacement value of $5,000.00. This stunning Art Deco piece looks simply breathtaking when worn and would make an outstanding engagement ring!
