Late Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.54ct

SKU: 40128

$1,995

A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in platinum, this wonderful ring holds a 0.54ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond rests in a 4-prong setting, and has G color and I1 clarity. It rests within a tapered box centerpiece which is detailed with a romantic heart-shaped cutout on either side. There are 6 delicate accent diamonds that line the shoulders of the setting, which are prong set and provide further sparkle to the already lovely design. These single cut stones weigh approximately 0.12ctw combined, and have H-I range color and VS range clarity. Completing the design is a tapered ridged platinum band, which is stamped "IRID PLATINUM" along the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in November 2017, and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,800.00. When worn, the ring is positively breathtaking, and would make an outstanding engagement piece!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25, but could easily be resized. The diamond centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
