Art Deco Platinum Filigree 5 Stone Diamond Ring 2.63ctw
An absolutely exquisite diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this fabulous ring carries and unusual and striking design with 5 old European Cut Diamonds I-K SI1-2 range, surrounded by a beautiful filigree mounting. The three center stones are set in an octagonal shaped box, resting vertically along the face and the two outer stones are bezel set, resting on the shoulders. The ring has a beautiful flowing design, interlaced with geometric and floral shaped detailing and a soft etched design carries down the sides of the band. The overall total diamond weight of the ring is approximately 2.63ctw. The shank is stamped "PLATINUM". The ring appraised in February 2014 by a GIA certified GG for a retail replacement value of $12,000. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 but it could easily be re-sized. The diamond shaped platinum center measures 7/8" tall and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
