Art Deco German Sterling Rock Crystal Link Bracelet
A beautiful rock crystal link bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this lovely German made bracelet is comprised of ten alternating rectangular shaped links that are each accented with faceted rock crystals. One link features a single rectangular shaped rock crystal that rests in a smoothly polished frame, with stunning facets that catch the light beautifully with every turn. The other links adorn a round rock crystal at the center, with facets closely resembling an old Mine Cut stone, and is surrounded by an open center graced by swirled wirework accents at each corner. A twisted rope design surrounds the center crystal and fine millgrain work is found throughout the piece. The crystal links meet at a push clasp seamlessly hidden with the last link, and stamped on the tongue is "GERMAN" and a "STERLING" purity mark, along with a safety chain for extra protection. A timelessly beautiful design, the bracelet would look wonderful worn everyday or on special occasions!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long and would fit nicely on a medium to average sized wrist. The links featuring the round crystal measure approximately 3/4" long, and about 1/4" wide and thick. The other links measure approximately 5/8" long, and about 1/4" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setter. The rock crystals are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
