Art Nouveau 14kt Enamel, Pearl & Diamond Angel Pin/Pendant
An exquisite gold pin/pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1900's) era! This stunning piece is made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold and depicts an angelic cherub face resting between a gorgeous pair of outstretched wings. Each wing is topped with rich, beautiful enamel work in stunning gold and pink hues which has a frosted pearlescent appearance. The details are exceptional, showing delicate facial features, soft curls of hair and individual feathers. A single diamond rests in the middle of the cherub's chest and a natural pearl dangles freely below. The piece doubles as a pendant and pin, with a gold bail at the top where it can hang from a chain and a pin clasp on the back stamped "14K." An incredibly beautiful Art Nouveau piece, it looks gorgeous when worn and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/8" long, is 7/8" wide and approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enameling and both the diamond and pearl are intact. The bail and pin clasp are both secure and in good working condition.
