Art Nouveau 18kt Mixed Metal Diamond Engage Ring .22ct
A lovely and unusual diamond engagement ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This beautiful ring has an old Mine Cut diamond that sits atop a stunning 18kt mixed metals mounting. The diamond is prong set in a box setting and has an approximate weight of .22ct. The stone has H-I color and SI2 clarity. Resting within the gorgeous mounting, on each side of the center stone, are yellow and gold accents. Two gold bars are on either side and 2 appliqué gold flowers rest on each shoulder. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design which carries down the shoulders of the band. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "18K". If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by a GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. It would make a stunning engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a small size 8 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond is intact.
