SKU: 42587

$9,995

A particularly stunning and unusual aesthetic movement bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely bangle is crafted in vibrant 15kt yellow gold and features an incredible aesthetic movement design that graces the front surface. The idyllic image is created with yellow, green and rose gold and sterling silver elements, giving it a wonderful, multi-tone appearance. The design includes two majestic Heron birds appearing to wade along a textured shoreline, surrounded by detailed cattails, flowers and leaves, and a single fish which is caught within the beak of one of the birds. The image incorporates a multitude of colors and rests atop the surface of the bracelet, creating a fantastic, 3-dimensional appearance. Framed by a simple, raised border, the bold picture is absolutely superb. Completing the design is a scalloped wire and beadwork border which lines the top and bottom of the sides of the front as well as the entire back, which otherwise, has a smoothly polished surface. The bracelet is hinged and fastens with an ornate push clasp and locking mechanism at the side, and the tongue is stamped with a maker's mark. When worn, the wide bangle makes a beautiful statement that is perfect for everyday wear!

Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall, and would fit nicely on a small to medium sized wrist. The surface of the bangle measures approximately 1" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting, or to the mixed metal elements. There are a few very minor dings on the side edge of the bracelet, but due to their location, they are not visible when worn and do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. The hinge and push clasp are secure and in good working condition.
