Art Deco Sterling Silver & French Paste Pin
A stunning and elegant hexagon shaped ladies brooch which is a fine example of the Art Deco (ca1920) period. This lovely pin is encrusted with numerous sparkling French paste stones in a very Art Deco, geometric design. It is decorated with channel set deep blue paste 'sapphires' and closed back, bead set clear French paste stones. All stones look to be original, and are bright white in color with no yellowing. On the back of the pin are two hallmarks, "Germany" and "965" which is a German mark for sterling silver. This beautiful and elegant brooch would look spectacular worn day or night.
Measurements: The pin measures slightly less than 1 7/8 " wide, 1 5/8" tall and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal and all of the stones are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
