JE CALDWELL Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engage Ring 4.02ct
An incredible Art Deco (ca1920) era diamond engagement ring from J.E. Caldwell & Co.! This beautiful piece has an old European Cut diamond at the center of a stunning ornate platinum mounting. The diamond has a partial bezel setting and a weight of 4.02ct with J color and VS1 clarity. Also set within the stunning mounting are an additional 40 Single Cut diamonds which cover the sides and shoulders of the ring, These sparkling stones rest within a strong, geometric design with fine milgrained accents and cutouts, giving the ring an incredible look. The shank has several marks: "JEC & Co." and "H1506". We were told that the ring may have been produced by esteemed jeweler and manufacturer Oscar Heyman, however, we were not able to confirm this unequivocally. Accompanying the center stone is an official diamond grading report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which confirms the stated carat weight, color, and clarity grades above. If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. The ring is absolutely stunning and would make an outstanding engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the stones are intact.
