An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece has a very classic look and is made of 18kt yellow gold with platinum prongs. The diamond stone, which is a European cut, has a total weight of approximately 0.85ct and is held in a 6-prong "V" setting. The sparkling stone has H color and SI1 clarity, and looks wonderful against the vibrant yellow gold setting. Stamped inside the shank is the maker's hallmark, which reads "S. KHIO & SONS". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in March 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,000.00. The ring looks stunning when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.25 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting or to the diamond stone, which is intact.
