Edwardian Delicate Platinum Link Chain 31"
A lovely platinum chain from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of delicate platinum links that connect together to form a stunning chain. Each individual link is small in size, with an elongated ellipse shape that has a smooth surface. The necklace fastens together with a simple spring clasp. However, a small gold ring at the center of the chain allows the length to be adjusted to form a lorgnette-style extension. A wonderful and versatile piece, it would be ideal for hanging a special pendant or pairing with other complimentary chains!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 31" long. When worn with the clasp fastened to the ring in the middle, the chain measures approximately 24" long, and the lorgnette extension hangs approximately 7 1/4" long below.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the platinum links. The spring clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
