Edwardian Platinum Diamond Link Chain Necklace 2.00ctw
A gorgeous diamond link chain necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece is features a pattern of diamond wirework links separated by delicate chain. The wirework links feature three diamonds in a row, with the center stone appearing as if it's "floating" amongst the feminine design. Alternating with the wirework links are individual bezel set diamonds, adding a continuous sparkling effect along the entire chain. Completing the design are delicate chain links, which act as the connectors throughout the necklace. All of the stunning old Mine Cut diamonds rest in milgrained bezels, weighing 2.00ctw collectively. The necklace fastens securely at the back with a spring ring clasp, and sparkles beautifully as it drapes below the neckline. Beautiful and feminine, it would make a wonderful piece to wear everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 22" in length. The diamond wirework links measure about 5/8" long, a little under 1/4" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum necklace. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
