Edwardian 14kt Gold Carved Citrine Intaglio Necklace
A stunning and unusual carved citrine intaglio pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This fantastic piece depicts a large, circular-shaped citrine stone which is surrounded by 14kt white gold detailing. The intaglio face in the center of the citrine bears the profile of a beautiful hand carved woman and the stone has rich, deep yellow color. A faceted, teardrop citrine dangles from the bottom of the intaglio, completing the beautiful design perfectly. The citrine pendant attaches to a fine white gold chain which clasps at the back. The piece has a gorgeous feminine design and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2" long, is 1" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/2". The chain measures 19".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the citrine stones, all of which of intact.
