A gorgeous diamond pin from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning pin is made of platinum and has an elongated ellipse shape. The front surface of the piece displays an ornate design with an intricate filigree wirework pattern and 5 old European Cut diamonds form a graduated row across the front. An additional 12 diamonds add sparkling accents at the corners of the pin and in between each of the larger bezel set stones. The stones have H-I range color, VS2-SI2 clarity, and a total weight of approximately 1.30ctw. Delicate milgrain and engraved detail further adds to the beauty of this glamorous pin. The back of the piece reveals a long bar pin made of 14kt yellow gold, which fastens the pin securely in place. Both feminine and elegant, the pin is simply stunning and would make a gorgeous addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pin measures 2 3/4" long, is 5/16" tall and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to either the platinum or gold setting and all of the diamond stones are intact.
