Edwardian 14kt/Platinum Coral & Diamond Filigree Ring

SKU: 39213

$2,995

A stunning coral and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This unusual ring frames a gorgeous coral cabochon at the center of a diamond encrusted border. The 14kt gold setting is topped in platinum for a beautiful mixed metals look! Lacy filigree cutouts and fine milgrain detail surround the natural coral centerpiece, which is bezel set. The cabochon is smoothly polished and displays a beautiful salmon color. Delicate rose cut diamonds are set within the flowing swirls of filigree detail, creating a sparkling surface that is a wonderful example of the Edwardian era aesthetic. Completing the design is a smooth gold shank, which tapers in at the back. When worn, the ring makes a breathtaking statement piece, and would look lovely worn daily or on special occasions!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The oval diamond and coral centerpiece measures 3/4" tall, 7/16" wide, and rests 5/16" high. The tapered band measures 1mm wide in the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting or filigree details. The coral cabochon and diamond accents remain intact, securely set, and free of any apparent chips or scratches.
