Edwardian 18kt & Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Ring
A beautiful five stone diamond and sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and platinum and has an alternating diamond and sapphire design that rests horizontally across the top of the ring. The three prong set diamonds and two French Cut sapphires are in a milgrained box setting, coming together to form a long rectangular shaped top surface. Webbed wirework can be seen from the sides of the mounting, adding beautiful detail to the already lovely piece. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.10ct each, with a total diamond weight of 0.30ctw. The inside of the ring is marked "18K" along with a small maker's mark. The ring is simply marvelous and would look beautiful worn everyday or could make a stunning eternity band or engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized. The rectangular top surface of the ring measures 5/8" wide and 1/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all of the diamond and sapphire stones are intact.
