Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Cross Stitch Patterned Pin
A stunning diamond pin from the Edwardian (ca1910) period! This absolutely gorgeous handmade piece is made of platinum and accented with sparkling old Mine and Rose Cut diamonds. The pin carries a wonderful design which replicates a cross stitch pattern with a grid body and diamonds representing the 'stitches'. The diamonds which are dispersed throughout the piece are Rose Cuts and in the very center is an old Mine Cut which weighs approximately 0.12ct. On the back of the ornate pin is a secure clasp made of 14kt yellow gold. It is a wonderful piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurement: The pin measures approximately 1 1/2" wide, is 7/8" tall, and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the diamonds are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
