A gorgeous mixed metals diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful two tone piece has an 18kt yellow gold shank and a platinum top. Set within the platinum setting is a single sparkling old Mine Cut diamond, which has I color and VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 0.54ct. The center stone is prong set in an hexagonal shaped center with a surrounding open channel. The engraving and filigree wirework on the ring is remarkably beautiful, with a subtle floral and scrolled motif. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in October 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $4,000.00. It is an absolutely stunning piece and would make a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.25 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and the center diamond is intact.
