Art Deco Plat & 18kt Diamond Engagement Ring .35ct
A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) era diamond engagement ring! This beautiful ring has an old European Cut diamond that sits atop a stunning filigree mounting made of platinum topped 18kt white gold. The diamond is prong set in a milgrained box setting and has an approximate weight of .35ct. The stone has I color and VS1 clarity. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design which carries down the shoulders of the band. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "PLAT." and "18K". If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by a GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. It would make a stunning engagement ring for that special person!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and the diamond stone is intact.
