Late Art Deco 14kt Yellow Gold + Ruby Fox Pin
A lovely fox pin from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this wonderful piece forms the shape of a 3-dimensional miniature fox in mid stride. The charming animal features wonderful details, including a long snout, two pointed ears, flowing tail, and soft, textured "fur." A lovely faceted pinkish red ruby dots the eye, adding a wonderful pop of color to the design and the back reveals a pin bar and clasp (stamped with a "14K" purity mark) to securely attach the piece to a favorite garment. It's an exceptional pin and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 1 1/2" wide, about 1/2" tall, and is about 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The ruby is intact and securely set and pin bar and clasp are secure and in good working order.
