Estate 14kt Diamond + Onyx Ring 0.30ct center
A gorgeous Estate onyx and diamond ring with a fabulous Art Deco (ca1920) era style! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this stylish and bold design adorns a stunning diamond and carved onyx design at the center. The octagonal-shaped onyx plaque displays a smoothly polished rich, black surface, perfectly contrasting with the ornate diamond design. A single bezel set diamond adorns the center, weighing approximately 0.30ct, exhibiting H/I color and VS1 clarity. Sparkling accent diamonds line the octagonal shaped border that surrounds the onyx, the stones trailing onto the elegant split shank shoulders. A single bezel set diamond rests at the center of the shoulders, nestled within the delicate cutout, and fine milgrain work is found throughout the piece. Collectively, the diamonds weigh approximately 1.30ctw combined, each one catching the light brilliantly with every turn. Completing the design is a swirled wirework design that embellishes the mounting, and a smoothly polished band graduates towards the back where a "585" gold purity mark besides a "KIM" maker's mark are stamped inside of the shank. The Estate ring has a fabulous Art Deco-inspired geometric design, and the piece would make a wonderful diamond engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be resized. The onyx and diamond center piece measures about 1/2" wide and tall, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures about 2.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. All of the diamonds and onyx stones are intact, securely set, and free of any visible chips or scratches.
