Art Deco Platinum Engraved Mine Cut Diamond Half-Band Eternity Ring 0.70ctw
A gorgeous diamond half-band from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This fantastic piece is crafted in platinum and embellished with an engraved motif on one side, and a row of 14 sparkling diamonds on the other. The engraved section is adorns a feminine floral pattern, which transitions beautifully into the diamond design. The sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds, which collectively have a total approximate weight of 0.70ctw, are bead set and rest in a prong set channel setting, catching the light beautifully with every turn. The two-sided design allows either the diamonds or the engraved pattern to be displayed, creating wonderful versatility. Finishing the design are smoothly polished sides, and stamped inside of the shank is a "PLAT" purity mark. A lovely Art Deco piece, it would stack nicely with other rings, and make a perfect vintage wedding band!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8, and could be resized slightly if desired. The band measures 3mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the engraved pattern. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
