Victorian Gold-Filled Etruscan Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely gold-filled bangle features a lovely aesthetic movement design that graces the front. The smooth surface of the bracelet is crafted in rose gold fill with an applied yellow gold Etruscan design, providing a wonderful two-tone appearance. The wirework design forms the shape of gorgeous floral and leafy motifs with delicate beaded accents and fine Etruscan wirework decorates the top and bottom border, carrying around the entire piece. The bracelet is hinged and fastens with a push clasp at the side. When worn, this lovely bangle makes a beautiful statement that is perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2" wide and 1 3/4" tall, and would fit nicely on an average to medium sized wrist. The surface of the bangle measures a little more than 1/2" wide and is about 1/8" thick.
Condition: The bracelet is in good antique condition. There is some minor surface wear, including a few small dents on the back of the bracelet, however it hardly noticeable when worn. The push clasp is in good working order however, there is a small gap in the closure. There is some natural patina present on the gold surface, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry, and adds to its natural beauty and character.
