$1,395

Fabulous emerald and pearl Austro-Hungarian earrings from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1900s)! Made of sterling silver, these gorgeous earrings are comprised of open ovals which hang from decorative leafy links. Each oval link is encrusted with alternating columns of natural seed pearls and faux emeralds and in the center is a single blister pearl. The faux emeralds are all bezel set and have a rich green color and the delicate seed pearls are strung on a thin wire. The open ovals hang from 3 leafy links which are each decorated with more faux emeralds and natural pearls. The earrings hang from a single blister pearl surmount which rests atop the original screw back; these could be easily converted to simple wires if desired. A beautiful filigree design enhances the reverse side of each earring, characteristic of the Austro-Hungarian style of craftsmanship. The gorgeous design of the earrings makes them suitable to wear either day or night and they would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The earrings hang 2 3/4" long, are 7/8" wide and 3/16" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to any of the pearls or stones, all of which are intact. The earring screw backs are also intact and secure.
